Assessing the weather situation in Ho Chi Minh City in the 10 days of mid-June (from June 11 to June 21), the Southern Hydrometeorological Station said that currently, the low pressure trough with an axis over the Northern region is maintained. Above, the subtropical high pressure is encroaching on the West and has an axis over the South Central region. The Southwest monsoon is operating at medium intensity.

Based on the above main weather patterns, the Southern Hydrometeorological Station forecasts that from June 15 to 21, Ho Chi Minh City will have showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon and evening. Thunderstorms are likely to cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind, and beware of the possibility of heavy rain causing localized flooding.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, today, June 12, the Southern region will be cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening.
