Up to now, the captains of Quang Nam fishing boats have notified 1 hour before docking. When receiving the fishermen's fishing logs, the Fisheries Control Office has fully checked and compared the data to ensure the scientific and honest content of the fishing logs. Quang Nam also strictly imposes penalties if fishing boats dock at the port to load fish without a fishing log or if the fishing logs are recorded incorrectly or insufficiently according to regulations.

Faced with the current situation of fishing vessels losing connection in Quang Ngai, recently at a working session with local authorities, Mr. Phung Duc Tien, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, said that the monitoring of Quang Ngai's fleet is still weak, the number of vessels losing connection is still high but the handling rate is low. Therefore, Quang Ngai needs to review the number of vessels in the province, ensure the installation of fishing vessel monitoring equipment. Strengthen the inspection of fishing vessels, monitor seafood output at ports, monitor fishing logs and confirm and certify seafood from exploitation to soon remove the "yellow card".
