Synthesis of parade and march training, directly commanded by the Minister of National Defense and Public Security

Minister of National Defense General Phan Van Giang, Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi and other leaders attended the general training session.

This is the first time a combined parade and marching practice has been organized in Ho Chi Minh City after many times organized at Bien Hoa airport, Dong Nai. The event attracted the attention of many people.

Participating in the training on the evening of April 18 were 25 military and militia units, and 13 police units. Minister of National Defense General Phan Van Giang and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang attended to direct, encourage, and present gifts to the forces. Other leaders of the two ministries were also present.

On the Ho Chi Minh City side, there was the participation of Permanent Deputy Secretary Nguyen Thanh Nghi.

The groups started their journey from Nguyen Binh Khiem Street, along Le Duan Street and Thong Nhat Hall. Their footsteps were in unison, full of pride, accompanied by the loud shouts of the group leaders. Then the soldiers shouted in unison, resoundingly.

"I've seen it on movies and TV a lot, but witnessing it in person today, I'm so moved. Peace is so beautiful! The parade on April 30 must have been even more heroic," said Ms. Nguyen Thuy Hong Anh, Binh Thanh District.
