The painting exhibition with the theme of Memory opened on the evening of March 2, at the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association (218A Pasteur, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City) introducing 135 works by more than 100 female artists, organized by the Women's Fine Arts Club - Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association.
This is one of the annual activities to celebrate International Women's Day March 8.
Painter Nguyen Anh Dao - head of the Women's Fine Arts Club - said the works demonstrate the diversity and development of art, while honoring the role and contributions of women in society.
Through this exhibition, the organizers hope to inspire and encourage women to discover and develop their talents.
The works are painted on many materials such as: lacquer, oil, acrylic, pastel, silk, watercolor, ceramic...
Each artist has different strengths but the common message is women's personal exploration and search; emphasizing development and maturity in life; honoring the diversity and strength of women; demonstrating the role and contribution of women in society...
The Memory Land exhibition takes place from March 2 to 8 at the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association.
