Quang Nam Front organizes many activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of homeland liberation

At the end of August 2024, the Provincial Front issued a plan to organize commemorative activities with 4 key contents including: Organizing thematic activities on the purpose and content of promoting people's mastery in building a united, prosperous and happy residential area; organizing an online contest to learn about the resolutions of the congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels and learn about the Law on Implementing Democracy at the Grassroots Level in 2022; launching a peak emulation campaign for the whole people to support resources to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province (from October 1, 2024 to March 24, 2025); organizing meetings with cadres and civil servants working for the Front since 1997 to present.

Mr. Le Tri Thanh - Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee said: One of the breakthrough and innovative tasks of the Provincial Front in 2025 is to effectively participate in the implementation of the Project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province in the period of 2023 - 2025 according to Resolution No. 13 dated September 22, 2023 of the Provincial People's Council.

Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee focuses on informing and disseminating the province's implementation documents, appeal letters and fundraising plans; organizing the reception, management, allocation and public implementation of fundraising sources. Launching a campaign to support workers for families who are eligible to build houses in mountainous districts.

Regularly connect and maintain close relationships with lower-level Fronts in synthesizing, monitoring, and grasping the allocation and use of funds in the province. Focus on inspection, survey, and supervision, promptly recommending solutions to arising problems.

With the accelerated efforts, the mobilization of social resources has so far basically ensured to focus on supporting the construction and repair of 11,761 new houses with a budget of 344.9 billion VND from the provincial budget and social mobilization sources. To date, 6,535 houses have been completed (55.5%); the remaining houses are focused on completing before October 2025.

The online contest to learn about the resolutions of the congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels was launched and awarded at the end of December 2024. The contest became a widespread political activity, contributing to bringing the resolutions of the congresses of the Front at all levels into life. The total number of registered accounts on the system was 42,909 with 94,015 entries. The contest is also a favorable premise for the Provincial Front to continue launching the Online Contest to learn about the Law on Implementing Democracy at the Grassroots Level in 2022.

Deploying a political activity campaign among cadres, party members and people in villages/residential groups, the Village Front Working Committee presided over organizing activities in residential areas. The focus was on disseminating propaganda materials on 95 years of steadfastly marching under the glorious flag of the Party and 50 years of building and developing Quang Nam province.

In addition, there was also a discussion on the content and methods of promoting people's mastery to build a united, prosperous and happy residential area. Affirming the role of the residential community in promoting the role of the subject and people's mastery in participating in local socio-economic development.

The Fronts of mountainous districts have been actively coordinating to prepare the content of the launching ceremony of the Campaign to change the "thinking - way of doing" of people in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, combining with the commendation of 50 village elders, village chiefs, and prestigious people representing ethnic minority areas in the whole province towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025)...

Through the Front Working Committee, the provincial budget supports each residential area with 15 million VND to organize commemorative activities to increase solidarity among the people, respond to the joyful victory day, arouse and foster the confidence and pride of cadres, party members and people in the development of Quang Nam province.
