Sharing with the media of the Land of the Golden Temple, the female head of the Thai team, Nualphan Lamsam (often called Madam Pang), said: "I understand very well my role with the Thai team. Up to now, I have never interfered in the professional work of the head coach."

"Choosing players, arranging the squad, and changing personnel in matches is the head coach's right. I just do my job, which is to ask clubs to release players to the national team, when the head coach thinks that player is necessary for the Thai national team," Madam Pang added.

The reason why the female billionaire, head of the Thai football team, spoke so long this time is because after coach Mano Polking withdrew from the Golden Temple team yesterday (November 22), some opinions said that this withdrawal was influenced by Madam Pang.

The powerful woman of Thai football continued to confide: "In the past, I only did things within my authority and responsibility. I always tried my best. When the Thai team was not successful, I was sadder than anyone else."

"My job is to facilitate the team in terms of food, accommodation, and transportation, making sure the team members feel as comfortable as possible. I have also given bonuses to the Thai team many times. Apart from that, I never interfere with coach Mano Polking's work.

Madam Pang said her enthusiasm was affected by public opinion that she abused her power in the Thai national team (Photo: FAT).

Some opinions that have appeared in the past few days, in my opinion, are unfair and can reduce the enthusiasm of those involved. I, like many others, always want Thai football to succeed," Madam Pang affirmed.

Both former Thai national team coach Mano Polking and the team's new coach Masatada Ishii (Japanese) have good relationships with Madam Pang.

It was Madam Pang who convinced coach Mano Polking to take the position of head coach of the Thai national team right before the AFF Cup 2020 (taking place from the end of 2021 to the first day of 2022), in the context that all domestic coaches in the Land of the Golden Pagoda did not want to cooperate with the national team.

Currently, Madam Pang is the one who convinced coach Masatada Ishii to replace coach Mano Polking, after Mr. Polking faced opposition from the football public in the Land of the Golden Temple.
