A series of businesses in Da Nang owe large amounts of insurance premiums

Da Nang City Social Insurance has just announced a list of 334 units that have been late in paying social insurance (SI), health insurance (HI) and unemployment insurance (UI) for a long time, with large amounts of money in the city.

This list is as of August 31. Of which, the enterprise with the largest debt is Da Nang Automobile and Electrical Equipment Mechanical Company (Hoa Khanh Industrial Park, Hoa Khanh Bac Ward, Lien Chieu District) with 13.6 billion VND.

Next is Branch II - Quang An I Industrial Joint Stock Company in Da Nang (Truong Sa Street, Khue My Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District) 12.5 billion VND; Song Da Mechanical - Installation Joint Stock Company - Branch 5 (Nguyen Van Cu Street, Lien Chieu District) 10.9 billion VND.

Several other businesses also have large debts, including Saigon DAD Interior Decoration & Advertising Company Limited (Ton That Dam Street, Thanh Khe District) with a debt of VND8.5 billion; Lilama 7 Joint Stock Company (Hoa Cuong Bac Ward, Hai Chau District) with a debt of VND7.1 billion; and KOKILI Vietnam Company Limited (Hoa Khanh Industrial Park, Lien Chieu District) with a debt of VND1.6 billion.

An Phu Quy Joint Stock Company (Thanh Binh Ward, Hai Chau District) owes 1 billion VND; RAYMOND Vietnam Architectural Design LLC (Bach Dang Street, Hai Chau District) owes 1.7 billion VND; VN Da Thanh Group Joint Stock Company (Thach Thang Ward, Hai Chau District) owes 1.8 billion VND.

According to Da Nang City Social Insurance, the situation of businesses delaying payment of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance for a long time with huge amounts of money has directly affected the rights of employees.

Previously, on August 20, the People's Committee of Da Nang City announced that it had issued documents on administrative sanctions in the field of social insurance and health insurance in the area against Max Planning Vina Company Limited (Hoa Tho Tay Ward, Cam Le District); Y Duc International Hospital Joint Stock Company (Hoa Khanh Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District); Tan Tay Lan Trading and Service Company Limited (headquartered at 63 Ton That Dam, Xuan Ha Ward, Thanh Khe District); Kha Tam Company Limited (Hoa Khanh Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District).

The People's Committee of Da Nang City requires the above enterprises to pay the full amount of compulsory social insurance and late payment accident insurance to the social insurance agency; at the same time, pay interest equal to 2 times the average social insurance fund investment interest rate of the previous year calculated on the amount and time of late payment.
