Many young people "announce" on social networks that they want to go for treatment, creating many streams of opinions and judgments - Illustration: Natural Therapy Page
After the COVID-19 pandemic, the keyword "healing" appeared frequently on social networking sites. This trend was supported by many people, especially young people.
Healing is simply understood as finding some methods to relieve stress, reduce fatigue, and psychological trauma when encountering a problem.
When healing emerged as a trend, many people wanted to "follow the trend" and experience it. Therefore, even if they were not necessarily tired or traumatized, "wanting to be healed" was a phrase that appeared everywhere.
The fact that everyone wants to be cured has created a mocking mentality from the crowd, both on social networks and in real life. Many people think that being young and wanting to be cured is just showing off, following the crowd, enjoying life and living a virtual life, and "there's nothing serious that needs to be cured".
In addition, some places take advantage of this trend to open classes called healing courses and charge high tuition fees, but the results are not very effective.
These things make people with real psychological or mental problems withdraw even more, silently endure difficulties, and struggle to solve them themselves instead of seeking help, for fear of being ridiculed.
Not only that, many people think that healing is only suitable for people with a lot of money and high income. People with low income who want to heal are showing off and will be scolded for not trying to improve themselves, like the case of my friend mentioned above.
After the generalized comments, my friend not only did not find a suitable method to solve her problem, but also became more stressed. Already hurt, asking for help online for therapy to heal doubled the hurt because she was... healing more wounds that had not yet healed.
Pressure, stress, fatigue at work, at home, in life or psychological disorders are things that everyone has to go through in the process of growing up. But before having enough motivation and strength to stand up and move on, many young people realize that they have mental problems that need to be solved.
And healing is a way to care for your own mental and emotional health before it gets worse. How to heal depends on the circumstances, conditions, finances, time, and problems each person encounters...
So I don't think that when someone shows an interest in taking care of their mental health, they should be judged for following the trend, or ridiculed as poor people don't have to follow the trend. How do you know if someone is hurting or not? And if you have a low salary, do you not have the right to hurt and not be allowed to heal?
Have you ever wished to be healed? Do you think that the sharing of "wanting to be healed" by young people on social networks is just for fun or reflects their true desire? Please share your opinion to the email address [email protected]. Tuoi Tre Online thanks you.
