Hai Duong City leaders offer incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and heroic martyrs

Comrade Le Dinh Long, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Hai Duong City Party Committee, offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House in Ai Quoc Ward.

On the morning of October 30, Hai Duong City held a ceremony to pay respects, offer flowers and incense at the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House in Ai Quoc Ward and the city's Martyrs Memorial on the occasion of the 220th anniversary of the founding of Thanh Dong (1804-2024), the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Hai Duong City (October 30, 1954 - October 30, 2024).

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the leaders of Hai Duong City and delegates observed a minute of silence to commemorate the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh and revolutionary predecessors, and to remember the heroic martyrs who fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and for the happiness of the people.

During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh visited Hai Duong 5 times. On May 31, 1957, on his way from Hai Phong to Hanoi, President Ho Chi Minh visited the people of Ai Quoc ward. He visited a number of families in Vu Thuong area, kindly asked about their lives and encouraged them to unite and actively study popular education and culture to improve production techniques.

Keeping in mind and following Uncle Ho's advice, the Party Committee, government and people of Hai Duong City always strive to promote solidarity, boost patriotic emulation movements, and are determined to successfully complete goals and tasks.
