On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army on December 22 (1944-2024), the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day on December 22 (1989-2024), on December 19, the Working Delegation of the Party Committee and the Border Guard Command of Quang Ninh province came to offer incense to commemorate and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs at the Po Hen National Historical Site (Hai Son Commune, Mong Cai City).
Po Hen National Historical Site, Hai Son Commune, Mong Cai City, is a place that marks the brave, resilient, and indomitable fighting and sacrifice of officers and soldiers of Armed Police Station 209 - Po Hen (now Quang Ninh Border Guard), along with workers of Hai Son Forestry and commercial staff of Po Hen cluster.
In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the delegation laid wreaths and offered incense to commemorate the heroes and martyrs who bravely fought and sacrificed to protect the sacred national border sovereignty of the Fatherland.
In front of the heroic souls of the martyrs, the collective of officers and soldiers of the provincial Border Guard vows to uphold the heroic and steadfast tradition of previous generations; unite, overcome all difficulties and hardships, determined to complete the tasks entrusted to them by the Party, State, Army and People; well perform the task of managing and firmly protecting the territorial sovereignty and national border security; build a border of peace, friendship, stability, cooperation and development.
