Spreading enthusiasm for digital transformation in society

On October 25, in Da Nang, International Data Group in Vietnam in collaboration with the Vietnam Digital Communications Association and the CEO&CIO Club organized the Ceremony to announce and honor the 2024 Outstanding Leaders in Digital Transformation, Information Technology and Information Security.

The 2024 Selection Council has selected 15 outstanding candidates from 41 candidates introduced by the Council members, to be honored at the ceremony. The ceremony has 3 categories: Outstanding Digital Transformation Leader, Outstanding Information Technology Leader and Outstanding Information Security Leader.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quang Thanh, Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Da Nang City emphasized that in recent years, under the direction of the Government and the participation of the political system, digital transformation has been promoted in the direction of the entire people, comprehensively, inclusively, throughout, achieving many practical results, contributing to the socio-economic development of the country.

In the context of promoting national digital transformation, honoring typical leaders in digital transformation, information technology, and information security every year is a valuable source of encouragement and motivation for those honored to continue contributing to the digital transformation process, bringing the country into a new era.

According to the Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Da Nang City, the Honoring Ceremony is an opportunity for agencies, organizations and businesses to look back on their achievements after a year of operation; at the same time, accumulate experience for the following years to continue contributing to the digital transformation in their industry, locality and business. In addition, the program also promotes the sharing of experiences and innovative models, helping to spread enthusiasm to the whole society, making digital transformation a driving force for the country's development.

The ceremony is held annually to honor digital transformation leaders in the Government and business sectors in Vietnam - those with outstanding achievements in organizing and directing the implementation of information technology application activities, information security and promoting digital transformation of business management activities, contributing to promoting the digital economy and digital society towards the goal of national digital transformation.
