Kien Giang has a new Provincial Party Secretary

Mr. Nguyen Tien Hai, Secretary of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, was assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee.

Late afternoon on January 17, in Kien Giang, Mr. Le Minh Hung, Head of the Central Organization Committee chaired a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.

Mr. Le Minh Hung (right), Head of the Central Organizing Committee, presented the Politburo's decision and flowers to the new Secretary of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee, Nguyen Tien Hai.

At the conference, Mr. Do Trong Hung, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, announced the Politburo's decision on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Nguyen Tien Hai, Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, to join the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee.

At the same time, he holds the position of Secretary of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, replacing Mr. Do Thanh Binh, who was transferred, assigned, and appointed to hold the position of Secretary of Can Tho City Party Committee.

In his speech, Mr. Le Minh Hung said that Mr. Nguyen Tien Hai is a cadre who has grown up from the grassroots and has held many different positions. He is assessed by the Politburo as a capable and experienced cadre with a scientific, democratic, decisive, and grassroots mindset and working method, always completing assigned tasks well.

Speaking at the new assignment, Mr. Nguyen Tien Hai said that in his new position, he will make every effort, strive to uphold the pioneering and exemplary spirit, together with the Standing Committee, the Party Executive Committee and the entire political system of Kien Giang province to maintain internal solidarity and unity, seize opportunities, promote collective intelligence, bravery, innovation, creativity, and strive to overcome difficulties and challenges...

Before holding the position of Secretary of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Tien Hai held many different positions: Secretary of the Cai Nuoc District Party Committee (Ca Mau Province), Director of the Department of Justice of Ca Mau, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau Province, Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau Province; Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Ca Mau Province.
