Food safety inspection during Mid-Autumn Festival

(HG O ) - The interdisciplinary inspection team on food safety during the 2024 Mid-Autumn Festival of the province has launched the first day of inspection of food production, trading and processing establishments in Vi Thanh city.

The interdisciplinary inspection team will carry out its mission until September 27 , inspecting all districts, towns and cities.

The delegation inspected MT Coffee production facility, Ward IV and KN Hau Giang Trading Company Limited , Ward VII . Through the inspection, the two facilities basically provided sufficient documents according to production and business regulations. Particularly , MT Coffee production facility, the delegation suggested that it is necessary to overcome the limitation of toilets in the production area.

The delegation will continue to inspect food production and trading establishments in the remaining districts, towns and cities of the province until September 27. The delegation will focus on inspecting and supervising the compliance with food safety laws of food production and trading establishments . Focus on and prioritize establishments producing and trading confectionery, soft drinks, traditional foods produced in craft villages, small establishments; establishments providing food services, street food... serving during the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2024 to minimize poisoning due to the use of unsafe food.
