Collective and individual review of comrades of the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee

On the morning of December 23, comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a conference to review the collective Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and individual members of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee in 2023.

The collective review report of the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed: In 2023, despite many difficulties and challenges, the province's socio-economic situation was basically stable and achieved a number of positive and important results in various fields. The gross regional domestic product (GRDP) is estimated to increase by 7.37% compared to 2022, 1.5 times higher than the national average; the total production value is estimated to increase by 6.6% compared to 2022, of which the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector is estimated to increase by 2.2%, the industry and construction sector is estimated to increase by 7.6%, and the service sector is estimated to increase by 6.2%. Investment promotion and attraction work has been directed with attention, bringing many positive results in both quality and quantity of projects. As of December 18, the province's investment capital attraction reached nearly VND98,300 billion, 4.6 times higher than the same period in 2022; of which FDI capital attraction reached nearly USD3 billion, the highest ever. 2023 is also the second consecutive year that the number of newly registered enterprises has exceeded 1,000. The rate of public investment capital disbursement continues to be among the top in the country.

These results have affirmed the leadership and direction of the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee in organizing and implementing comprehensive tasks to effectively implement the goals set out in the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress; at the same time, leading and directing the Provincial People's Committee to promptly issue programs, plans, and documents directing the implementation of socio-economic development goals and tasks. In the process of leadership and direction, the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee has always been united and unified; promoted the comprehensive leadership role well while implementing the principle of democratic centralism; had a firm political stance and stance, and remained steadfast in the face of difficulties and challenges.

At the conference, the collective and individual members of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee reviewed their strengths and achievements; clarified the limitations, shortcomings, causes and results of overcoming the limitations and shortcomings that have been concluded or pointed out by competent authorities in previous reviews; the responsibilities of the collective and individuals; on that basis, proposed directions and measures to overcome the limitations and shortcomings in the coming time.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the conference. Comrade Lai Van Hoan, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the conference. Comrade Tran Thi Bich Hang, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the conference.

In his concluding remarks, Comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee basically agreed with the collective review report of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee; at the same time, clarified the leadership and direction role of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee in 2023, thereby promoting the socio-economic development of the province.

He emphasized: The Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee is a united and united collective; well implementing the principle of democratic centralism, while at the same time promoting the role of comprehensive leadership.

In order to well implement the set goals and tasks, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee requested that in the coming time, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and unity; properly implement the principle of democratic centralism in the process of leading and directing the implementation of tasks; innovate the leadership method of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee; be sensitive to grasp and forecast the situation on that basis, analyze and evaluate to focus on leadership and direction closely and in accordance with the actual situation; thoroughly and seriously implement the directions of the Central Government and the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council; continue to well perform the role of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee in personnel work.
