On July 3 and 4, the Land Fund Development Center of Me Linh district organized the payment of compensation and support for site clearance (GPMB) for the project to build a resettlement area serving the implementation of Ring Road 4 - Hanoi Capital Region for households in Van Khe commune.
Accordingly, the approved area for compensation and support payment for resettlement site clearance in phase 1 is more than 34,800m2, with a cost of 28.7 billion VND, related to 117 households and individuals in Khe Ngoai 1 and Khe Ngoai 3 villages (Van Khe commune).
On the payment day (July 3), most of the people whose land was used for the resettlement project agreed and hoped that the project would be completed soon. Mr. Nguyen Van Loi (born in 1962) in Khe Ngoai 3 village, Van Khe commune shared: "My family has 360 square meters of rice fields growing roses and other crops, which bring in tens of millions of dong in income each year, but for the common good, my family still agrees to hand over the land to the State"...
Director of the Land Fund Development Center of Me Linh District Dinh Ngoc Thuc said that up to now, the district has held a meeting to appraise and publicize the compensation plan for the resettlement project of Khe Ngoai village with a total area of 5.6/7.7 hectares, reaching 72.7%. In addition, the District People's Committee has issued Decision No. 3905/QD-UBND on approving the design task of the project to build the resettlement area of Khe Ngoai village.
After the first payment to households, Me Linh district continued to publicly post the list and invite households with complete documents and papers to receive money and sign the land handover papers for the district to implement the resettlement area. Thus, the Khe Ngoai village resettlement project is being implemented on schedule of the city and is eligible to start construction in July 2023.
