After initiating the case, Nghi Son Town Police summoned a number of related people to assist in the investigation.

Previously, at around 8:30 a.m. on October 23, hundreds of people (all residing in Hai Ha commune) gathered at the Long Son container port construction area to protest the project.

Many people carried banners protesting the project, saying it would affect the fishing of hundreds of households.
