Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Quang Nam said that 29/3 Park was built since the liberation day, and has been invested, renovated and repaired many times but still has not met the needs and aspirations of the people. This is a special project of great significance related to cultural and social institutions, improving the spiritual life of the people.

After being upgraded and renovated, March 29 Park will be a relaxing space for tourists in general and city residents in particular. In particular, March 29 Park will be a green highlight of the city, a green, clean, quiet and peaceful cultural spot, and a symbol of peace in Da Nang.

According to the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects for Civil, Industrial and Technical Infrastructure Works in Da Nang, the project to Upgrade and Renovate March 29 Park has a total investment of nearly 673 billion VND. Of which, the cost of construction, equipment and other costs is 330 billion VND; compensation costs are 297 billion VND and contingency costs are 46 billion VND. The project implementation period is from the commencement date to September 30, 2026 with the following items: the construction block includes the peace ring, the construction at the entrance from Nguyen Tri Phuong Street; public restrooms, boat docks. The landscape architecture item includes an outdoor playground, an artistic water fountain system, an outdoor stage, a sports field, an outdoor gym, a parking lot, etc.
