At the dialogue, the content of the people's recommendations mainly revolved around issues of land compensation prices being too low, land locations with inappropriate compensation prices, and the need to review policies on resettlement land allocation...
The people's recommendations were all specifically answered by the leaders of the Bien Hoa City Party Committee and People's Committee based on the provisions of the current Land Law. Some recommendations had grounds for additional handling, and the Bien Hoa City leaders took note to immediately handle them for the people.
Right at the morning dialogue, more than 20 households signed a commitment to hand over the site.
“After many petitions about the compensation price being too low, not enough to buy a house or land elsewhere, even with about 300 million VND received from compensation support, the family cannot buy a social housing house.
However, through the dialogue with the city leaders explaining the regulations, I found that the officials could not do otherwise because if they did otherwise, they could be punished for violating the regulations. Therefore, my family decided to hand over the land to the state to implement the project," said Mr. Nguyen Van Nghia, one of the households participating in the dialogue.
Previously, on March 29, through dialogue with city leaders, 50 more households in Phuoc Tan ward agreed to hand over the land to implement the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project.
Along with 100 households with compulsory decisions that have successfully mobilized to hand over the land, there are currently 170 households in Phuoc Tan Ward agreeing to hand over the land for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project. As of the end of March 29, nearly 52.5 hectares/59.5 hectares of land have been handed over, reaching 88.3% of the total recovered area.
“The city is determined to issue all enforcement decisions for households that have not yet handed over their land, and at the same time continue to be persistent and flexible in propaganda and mobilization work for households until March 31 to avoid enforcement,” added Bien Hoa City Party Secretary Ho Van Nam.
