City Internal Affairs agencies deploy directions and tasks for 2024

(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the morning of February 23, the City's Internal Affairs Agencies Bloc held a conference to summarize emulation and reward work in 2023 and deploy directions and tasks for 2024. Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Khac Nam attended the conference.

In 2023, implementing the city's Action Theme "Promoting urban modernization - Building new model rural areas - Implementing digital transformation", agencies and units in the City's Internal Affairs Emulation Bloc launched the 2023 emulation movement with the theme "Discipline, responsibility, solidarity, creativity, striving to compete to excellently complete assigned political tasks - Implementing digital transformation" with appropriate emulation contents and targets for each agency and unit, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere among agencies and units in the Bloc.

With a high spirit of determination, the agencies and units in the Bloc synchronously deployed tasks and solutions and achieved important results. The political security situation, social order and safety in the area were basically stable, national border sovereignty was maintained, the work of preventing, detecting and handling crimes, investigation, prosecution, trial, and supervision of criminal judgment execution achieved positive results, excellently completing assigned tasks. Well implementing the democratic regulations at the grassroots level, promoting the responsibility of setting an example for cadres and party members, especially leaders and managers. Promoting responsibility, tightening discipline, avoiding violations of the law, corruption, waste, and negativity; effectively applying information technology in management, operation, and work resolution... Most units in the Bloc exceeded the emulation contents and targets; many units had new and creative ways of doing things. Through the emulation movement, many typical and advanced collectives and individuals have emerged. 100% of agencies and units have done a good job in Party building, building "clean and strong" agencies and units.

To complete the set goals, in 2024, the units in the City's Internal Affairs Agencies Bloc set out a number of key tasks and solutions as follows: continue to organize and implement Directive No. 34/CT-TW dated April 7, 2014 of the Politburo on continuing to innovate emulation and reward work associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; implement the Law on Emulation and Reward; promote key emulation movements launched by the Prime Minister; well implement the Resolution of the 16th City Party Congress; improve the quality of emulation and reward work; promote the role of Party committees, Party organizations, authorities, especially the leaders...

Speaking at the Conference, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Khac Nam acknowledged and commended the results achieved by the Emulation Bloc of the City's Internal Affairs agencies, which have contributed to the city's socio-economic development in 2023. The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested that agencies in the Internal Affairs Bloc continue to effectively implement Directive No. 34 of the Politburo on innovation in emulation and reward work and emulation movements launched by the Prime Minister, ministries, cities, localities and units. Along with that, based on the goals and targets of socio-economic development in 2024, the Head of the Emulation Bloc in 2024 launched an emulation movement associated with the political tasks of each member unit. In the immediate future, focus on advising on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of management and operation activities associated with the responsibility of the head; improving the quality and effectiveness of administrative reform, digital transformation tasks; Promote the improvement of the investment and business environment; build an attractive, dynamic and livable image of Hai Phong... Continue to overcome limitations and difficulties, make appropriate proposals and advice to achieve more results, perfect institutions and law enforcement mechanisms to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of state management by law, contributing to the good implementation of the city's socio-economic development goals and tasks.
