Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee works with Standing Committee of Ninh Son District Party Committee

On March 5, comrade Nguyen Duc Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired an online meeting between the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Ninh Son District Party Committee on the results of the district's task implementation in 2023 and the direction and tasks in 2024.

In 2023, Ninh Son District Party Committee focused on leading, directing drastically and synchronously many solutions to implement the tasks of socio-economic development, Party building and political system building. As a result, 17/17 targets were achieved and exceeded the resolution; the growth rate reached 14.02%. To date, the district has achieved 4/9 criteria for a new rural district (NTM), with 6/7 communes meeting NTM standards, 2/7 communes meeting advanced NTM standards. Land, resource, mineral and environmental management has been strengthened. Culture and society have many positive changes; average income per capita reached 54.45 million VND; the poverty rate decreased to 4.32% (down 2.07%). Military and defense work has been strengthened; political security, order and social safety have been ensured. In 2024, Ninh Son District Party Committee will focus on directing and mobilizing resources to build the district to meet the new rural standards, Tan Son town to meet the type IV urban standards; continue to maintain a stable and sustainable growth rate; accelerate economic development, focusing on developing high-tech agricultural economy, forestry, trade, services, tourism; enhance the application of science, technology, digital transformation; improve productivity and quality of human resources; promote investment in infrastructure; focus on comprehensive development of culture, health, education, ensuring social security, poverty reduction and improving people's lives. The district strives for a growth rate of 14%; average income per capita of 56 million VND; reduce the poverty rate by 0.5-1%, especially Ma Noi commune, reducing by 8-10%...

Speaking at the working session, the Provincial Party Secretary highly appreciated, acknowledged and commended the solidarity, responsibility, determination and working methods of the Standing Committee, Party Committee and people of Ninh Son district in implementing tasks in the past time. Regarding the tasks in 2024, he requested the Ninh Son District Party Committee to continue to well implement the policy of restructuring the economy, promoting growth and sustainable development; effectively exploiting invested infrastructure; overcoming the situation of slow disbursement of public investment capital. Along with that, the district continues to promote and improve the quality of education, healthcare, and health care for the people; focus on vocational training associated with the needs of businesses, the labor market and job creation, labor export; promote administrative reform, digital transformation; strengthen the management of land, resources, minerals, and forest protection; implement social security policies to ensure timely, appropriate targets, and compliance with regulations; At the same time, speed up the implementation progress and improve the quality of NTM criteria in a sustainable and effective manner, aiming at the goal of building Ninh Son district to meet NTM standards by 2025, completing the construction of Tan Son town to meet type IV urban standards in 2024; better implement the work of Party building and the political system; strengthen national defense and security, ensure social order and safety; proactively prepare for Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, especially the preparation of documents and personnel work...
