This was a predictable result as Godzilla and Kong are always two names that stir up the Vietnamese box office every time they are released.

In the past, these two monsters shocked the box office in 2021 with the movie Godzlla vs. Kong (Vietnamese title: Godzilla vs. Kong) .

The film earned Legendary $470.1 million globally and VND139.5 billion in Vietnam (according to Box Office data).

That's why Warner Bros. spent more money on the release of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, to maximize profits from one of its most popular film series.

Currently, the revenue on March 31 of Godzilla x Kong is at 6.6 billion VND.

This number is nearly 4 times higher than the movie in 2nd place, the Korean supernatural horror blockbuster - Exhuma: Tomb Raider .

The number of screenings of the film also surpassed 4,000 (today, March 31), while other films did not exceed 2,000.

In terms of content, Godzilla x Kong opens with two separate stories of Godzilla and Kong.
