Speaking at the art gala program, Mr. To Dinh Tuan - Editor-in-Chief of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, Head of the Steering Committee of the 2nd "Honoring Vietnamese Coffee and Tea" Festival - 2024, Head of the Steering Committee of the 30th Mai Vang Award - 2024 - said that "The 30-year journey of Mai Vang Award" is the opening event of the award that has been closely associated with cultural and artistic life and has been a prestigious award for artists nationwide over the past 3 decades.
Over the past 30 years, with the trust and favorable conditions of leaders and authorities at all levels, Mai Vang has been organized annually. More than 200 artists from many fields have been nominated, voted and awarded by readers of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper. On behalf of the Steering Committee and the Organizing Committee of Mai Vang Award, Mr. To Dinh Tuan expressed his gratitude for the trust and responsibility that the majority of readers and the public have given the Organizing Committee to improve and gradually increase professionalism each year, so that the award can have a strong influence in society.

Mr. To Dinh Tuan said that from the achievements, with the noble mission assigned by society, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper and the Organizing Committee of Mai Vang Award had the initiative to carry out a very meaningful program, which is "Mai Vang Charity" - later renamed "Mai Vang Gratitude". The program has provided timely help to artists facing difficult circumstances and illnesses; cared for, visited, and presented gifts to intellectuals, scientists, teachers, medical staff... who have made many contributions to society.

During the Gala night of the "30-year Journey of the Golden Apricot Award", the Organizing Committee awarded commemorative medals to 16 individuals and groups who had won the award.
They are People's Artist Viet Anh, Meritorious Artist - Director Hoa Ha, artist Quoc Thao, fashion designer Vo Viet Chung, director Huynh Anh Tuan - Director of IDECAF Drama Theater, director Vo Thach Thao, actor Van Phuong, artist Hong Anh, Meritorious Artist Cong Ninh, Meritorious Artist Kim Tieu Long, Meritorious Artist Van Khanh, musician Hoai An, singer Uyen Trang, singer Ngoc Mai, The Bell group, Mat Ngoc group...
In addition, the Organizing Committee also honored and presented gifts from the "Mai Vang Tri An" program to two famous artists, People's Artist Thanh Tuan and writer Nguyen Nhat Anh.
People's Artist Thanh Tuan is a Cai Luong stage artist who has been involved in the profession for more than 50 years. Coming from Quang Ngai to the South to start a career, he has been warmly welcomed by the public and professionals. People's Artist Thanh Tuan has had hundreds of famous roles on stage. Dedicating the participants of the 2nd "Honoring Vietnamese Coffee and Tea" Festival - 2024 and the audience of the art gala night to the famous folk song "Nho Nha Trang" by composer Minh Thuy, People's Artist Thanh Tuan received many compliments.
Meanwhile, writer Nguyen Nhat Anh is one of the most successful writers of books for children and young adults with more than 100 works in various genres. Before becoming a famous writer, he used to teach and write for newspapers. The name of writer Nguyen Nhat Anh is associated with many works that have captivated readers of many generations.
