The VietnamlnAcquarello 2024 international watercolor painting exhibition has just opened at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, Hanoi.
The International Watercolor Exhibition is an initiative of VietnamInAcquarello (a branch of the International Watercolor Museum) - the world's largest community of watercolor artists based in Italy.
The event is jointly organized by the Temple of Literature, Hanoi Watercolor Artists Club, Nhau Studio and Minh Dam Gallery, under the honorary patronage of the Polish Embassy in Hanoi.

Speaking at the opening ceremony on the afternoon of March 15, Polish Ambassador to Vietnam Alexander Nowakowski said that the art of painting is one of the powerful means to promote cultural exchange and understanding.
Affirming that the Temple of Literature is the perfect place to honor the diverse colors of culture, the Ambassador believes that cultural exchange activities here will promote further understanding between the two peoples.
As the organizer of the exhibition, Polish-Vietnamese artist Minh Dam expressed his gratitude for the valuable support of the Polish Embassy in making this exhibition a reality.
He hopes the event will contribute to promoting cultural exchange, art exchange as well as inspiring creativity to artists and art enthusiasts.
With the theme "Cultural Colors", the exhibition at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam displays more than 200 watercolor paintings by artists from many countries.
On this occasion, a special space called "Polish Corner" was also introduced at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam. In addition, at the demo and workshop "Reflections on cultural heritage: Watercolor workshop with Polish masters", Polish artists along with many international and Vietnamese artists participated in painting the Temple of Literature.
Director of the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam Le Xuan Kieu assessed the workshop as a meaningful activity at the exhibition.
He believes that the exhibition is a space that opens up many cultural connections between the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam with Poland, and many other countries in the future.

VietnamlnAcquarello 2024 introduces 465 watercolor paintings from 60 countries, displayed at two locations: Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam and Nhau Studio from March 16-28. This is the largest watercolor painting exhibition ever held in Vietnam. |
