On the occasion of the 528th anniversary of the death of Queen Mother Ngo Thi Ngoc Dao, on May 1, Dinh Hoa commune (Yen Dinh) opened the Phu Nhi Festival - the ceremony of the Holy Mother Queen Mother Ngo Thi Ngoc Dao (1420 - 1496), also known as Quang Thuc Queen Mother, the biological mother of King Le Thanh Tong. She was a person who contributed to the 3 emperors of the Le Dynasty, especially the person who had a great influence on the life, personality, merit and career of Le Thanh Tong, one of the most brilliant kings in the history of Vietnamese feudal dynasties.

The festival takes place from April 28 to May 4 (ie March 20 to 26 of the lunar calendar) with rituals, incense and flower offerings, mountain decoration trays and cultural and sports exchange activities, such as: volleyball competition, chess competition, tug of war, suspension bridge crossing, cultural exchange... The festival attracts a large number of people and tourists from all over to offer incense and visit the scenery.

The festival aims to propagate and educate the tradition of patriotism, pride of the homeland; the merits and virtues of Queen Mother Ngo Thi Ngoc Dao and to preserve, conserve and promote the values of the national historical relics of Dien Thua Hoa and Tu Duong Phuc Quang.
