On June 28, the 7th International Eastern Oil and Gas Forum opened in Vladivostok, Russia.
The annual forum took place over two days, June 28-29, with the participation of 200 experts from Russia and other countries.
At the forum, representatives of the government and the oil and gas industry discussed the development of oil and gas projects in the Far East and Eastern Siberia. The first day of the meeting was held under the theme "New realities: Development of oil and gas projects in the Far East and Eastern Siberia, state support measures, market reorientation, import substitution".

The forum's agenda includes promoting gasification in the region, developing gas infrastructure and liquefied natural gas projects, oil and gas processing, the Far East and Eastern Siberia - investment region, launching projects and development prospects in new economic conditions, ecological security, carbon neutrality strategy and state regulatory measures.
The forum also discussed plans for the construction, modernization and expansion of production facilities with implementation dates before and after 2035, focusing on promoting more than 30 oil and gas projects in the Far East and Eastern Siberia, including the construction of oil and gas processing facilities.
