Mi Son communal house festival (Hai Ha)

On February 13, Quang Ha town (Hai Ha) held the opening ceremony of Mi Son communal house festival in 2025.

Mi Son Communal House, whose name is Linh Quang Tu, worships kings, high-ranking mandarins, and the Thanh Hoang of all landscapes guarding river mouths and seaports. Mi Son Communal House Festival takes place from January 16 to 20 every year, including the ceremony and the festival. The highlight of the festival is the procession from the communal house to the seaport to welcome the Thanh Hoang of all landscapes to the festival. At the same time, the shamans at the communal house will take a dragon boat to the seaport to fetch water to worship at the communal house, expressing people's wishes for the growth and development of all things.

In addition, the ceremony also includes male and female sacrificial teams, silk house singing, lantern dancing, drum beating, flag waving, and many spiritual rituals to pray for a year of good luck, favorable weather, and bountiful crops. After the water procession, with the participation of many people, comes the opening ceremony and incense offering by the groups.

People participate in games such as tug of war and blindfolded duck catching at the festival.

The festival will organize games and competitions such as: Tug of war, blindfolded duck catching, bridge crossing, blindfolded pot smashing... which have attracted a large number of people and tourists from all over to attend.

Mi Son Communal House Festival is a long-standing traditional spiritual and cultural activity and a place for cultural and religious activities of the people of Quang Ha town. The festival creates a joyful and exciting atmosphere for the people and tourists from all over the country, while contributing to preserving and promoting the values ​​and cultural identity of the locality.
