Harald Baldr is an American YouTuber with a personal channel that has attracted more than 2.3 million subscribers. On his YouTube channel, he regularly shares videos about his travel experiences in Mexico, India, Sri Lanka, Korea, Vietnam, etc.
In Vietnam, Harald had the opportunity to visit many famous destinations such as Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Long (Quang Ninh), Lan Ha Bay (Hai Phong) and experience some unique forms of accommodation here such as going on a cruise, staying overnight in a fishing village...
Most recently, an American visitor came to Sa Pa (Lao Cai) and chose to stay at a resort. The resort is located at an altitude of 1,550m above sea level, surrounded by a hundred-year-old samu pine forest.

This place was honored by the prestigious international tourism award World Travel Awards (WTA) as "Asia's Leading Unique Resort" in 2022 and was praised by British magazine Condé Nast Traveler as a resort destination with indigenous cultural identity and the most beautiful place to see the sea of clouds in the world.
Harald said he chose to stay overnight at a villa for $300/night (more than 7.6 million VND).

According to the American guest's observation, the villa has a spacious design, including a living room, bedroom and private bathroom. The living room also has a fireplace, dry wood and sweet potatoes for visitors to use and experience.
“This is one of the most amazing hotels I have ever experienced while traveling in Vietnam,” Harald said after taking a tour around the villa.
The American YouTuber also revealed that the villa has a large open balcony with a view of the beautiful scenery outside. Standing here, he can look far away, admire the poetic sea of clouds in the early morning or see Muong Hoa valley from above.

During his stay at the resort, Harald also experienced the outdoor swimming pool and enjoyed some typical local dishes such as: fried stream fish with betel leaves, boiled squash, steamed wild boar and bamboo shoot and rib soup.
For dinner, he sampled some wines at the resort restaurant and ate grilled Bac Ha horse loin with forest-scented sauce. He was pleased with the plum wine the staff recommended and complimented the unique and delicious taste of the horse meat.

Harald said that the resort also offers many interesting experiences such as: Motor tours across majestic mountain passes; trekking through forests, admiring terraced fields and H'Mong villages or hunting clouds...
Although he could not carry out his intention of riding a motorbike through the green hills the next morning due to rain, the American guest was still satisfied with his stay here.
He also enjoyed seeing the sea of floating clouds when he woke up and comfortably breathing in the cool, fresh air at the high-altitude resort in Sa Pa.

Western tourists spend 6.6 million to experience one night on the train from Da Nang to Hanoi. Wanting a new experience, two Canadian tourists decided to travel from Da Nang to Hanoi by 5-star train instead of flying. They booked a VIP sleeper cabin for 2 people, priced at 6.6 million VND/night.
