At the meeting, the Council members studied, commented, and evaluated each topic in the document template. At the same time, they proposed to organize practical experimental lessons in local areas to gain experience and supplement content from teachers and learners. Organize video recording of lectures to illustrate upcoming topics.
It is recommended that the Department of Education and Training have online professional training courses like other subjects, to introduce the content of the documents and guide teachers on how to plan lessons more clearly.
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Be Muoi emphasized: Ben Tre province's local educational materials are built to equip students with basic knowledge about the culture, history, geography, socio-economics... of the province, and at the same time, this is also an information channel to promote the province's image to students. On that basis, it is recommended to choose beautiful images to include in the materials and have clear notes, especially the names of typical products and craft villages of the province. The topics in the materials need to be adjusted to make them easier for students to access and closer to the actual situation of the locality.
Assessing that the Document still has many inappropriate points, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Be Muoi suggested continuing to research, adjust and send back to the Appraisal Council.
It is known that the Ben Tre Province Local Education Document for Grade 8 is a document that inherits and draws good experience in many aspects from previous documents. The document ensures that the content and form are in accordance with the provisions of Vietnamese law, in accordance with the requirements of the compilation objectives guided by the Ministry of Education and Training according to the 2018 General Education Program.
The content of the document accurately and fully reflects the content of the educational program, ensuring the basic, scientific, practical nature suitable to the reality of Ben Tre locality. The educational content on culture, history, geography, economy, and society is presented reasonably, updated, meeting the requirements of integration and suitable to the current educational goals.
