On August 23, a large number of people and tourists flocked to attend the Hue Nam Palace Festival in the ancient capital of Hue.
From early morning, many saints, fellow believers, people and tourists from all over the world were present at Thien Tien Holy Church on Chi Lang Street, Hue City to participate in the ceremony.
Here, after the proclamation ceremony - Cung Nghinh ceremony, more than 70 dragon boats (double dragon boats, single dragon boats) moved onto dragon boats to go upstream on the Huong River to Hue Nam Palace upstream.

Hue Nam Palace Festival (also known as Hon Chen Palace) is a traditional folk festival associated with Hue Nam Palace relic and Hai Cat communal house in Huong Tho commune, Huong Tra district (now Hue city, Thua Thien Hue province).
Hue Nam Temple Festival is a traditional activity with spiritual and cultural elements of a part of Hue residents in particular and the whole country in general, held annually in March (Spring Festival) and July (Autumn Festival) of the lunar calendar at the temple located on Ngoc Tran mountain on the bank of Huong River - where Thien YA Na Thanh Mau is worshiped.
According to the Department of Culture and Sports of Thua Thien Hue province, taking place from August 23 to 25 (ie July 8 to 10 of the lunar calendar), the Hue Nam temple festival this July of the lunar calendar is expected to have more than 25,000 participants.
At Hue Nam temple, there will be main ceremonies such as the Opening Ceremony - Announcement Ceremony, the Main Ceremony and Prayer for National Peace and People's Peace, the pilgrimage ceremony of fellow believers, welcoming the Holy Mother and the Council of Four Palaces to attend the ceremony at Hai Cat communal house. In addition, there will be festival activities at Hai Cat communal house area, the Main Ceremony at Hai Cat communal house, the Thanksgiving Ceremony and the Closing Ceremony at Hue Nam temple.

The Hon Chen Temple Festival is considered to be colorful and vibrant. This is also considered a typical folk and community cultural festival of the ancient capital, attracting a large number of followers of the Mother Goddess worship as well as locals and tourists to attend.
