On the morning of September 18, at Van Mieu Park, Cao Lanh City, Dong Thap Province, the Department of Education and Training of Cao Lanh City coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Support and Consulting Center and the STEAMZONE Education Center to organize a STEM Festival for kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools.
The festival attracted more than 1,000 teachers and students with more than 600 products and STEM educational experience activities. 14 school clusters with 49 schools at preschool, primary and secondary levels participated in the STEM product design and manufacturing contest.
The festival also includes an exchange with teachers, parents and schools about reading culture.
According to Tuoi Tre Online, the STEM products created by students are mainly made from recycled materials, from plastic bottles, nylon bags; many green products are made from leaves, paper boxes. The students confidently presented their products and enjoyed the colorful festival.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thanh - Head of the Department of Education and Training of Cao Lanh city - said that the festival aims to create a useful playground for students to experience, stimulate exploration, and promote their creativity.
"STEM is an integrated educational method based on an interdisciplinary approach and through practice and application, aiming to stimulate a love of scientific discovery, arouse passion, and help students understand more about theoretical concepts," said Mr. Thanh.
