On May 27, the Capital Mobile Police Regiment (Mobile Police Command, Ministry of Public Security) held a closing ceremony for the training course for citizens performing their duty to join the People's Public Security in 2024.
More than 1,000 new soldiers are "more resilient and courageous" after the training course.
In 2024, the Capital Mobile Police Regiment was assigned by the Mobile Police Command to receive, manage and organize training for 1,117 new soldiers from the police of 6 localities, including 155 soldiers from Cao Bang, 140 soldiers from Bac Kan, 192 soldiers from Phu Tho, 100 soldiers from Nam Dinh, 360 soldiers from Son La, and 170 soldiers from Hoa Binh.
On the hot and windy training ground, the unanimous shout of "People's Public Security is loyal to the Party, devoted to the people, forgets itself for the country, serves the people" from more than 1,000 soldiers echoed throughout the sky.
The soldiers were serious, performing together the People's Police martial arts parade with decisive and well-coordinated movements and punches. On their sunburnt faces, drops of sweat rolled down, soaking the uniforms of the young soldiers.
After 3 months of strict and methodical training by the Capital Mobile Police Regiment, the newly enlisted recruits have now become strong and brave conscripted police officers.

Soldier Tran Cong Tien Dat (from Nam Dinh province) said that since joining the Capital Mobile Police Regiment, he has learned many useful things such as discipline and military style.
"Thanks to the attention, strict training, and dedication of the training staff, I have gained good health, endurance, and a strong spirit and determination," soldier Dat affirmed.
The desire to become a regular police officer of new soldiers
Dressed in Mong ethnic costumes, Mrs. Vang Y Mai (59 years old, in Long Luong village, Van Ho, Son La province) and 5 family members traveled nearly 200km from Son La to the Capital Mobile Police Regiment (Soc Son, Hanoi) to watch and encourage her nephew Giang A Manh Khang (20 years old) to parade and perform on the day of completing his training course.
"You must be focused, confident, and courageous to perform well. After 3 months of training, today is the day for you and your teammates to show off your strength," Mrs. Mai told her grandson before the closing ceremony of the training course took place.

Since childhood, Giang A Manh Khang idolized his grandfather and father - both of whom worked in the Son La Provincial Police. Khang was fascinated by the blue uniforms of his father and grandfather. Every time he "stole" his father's police hat, Khang imagined himself becoming a police officer in the future.
To fulfill his dream, after graduating from a secondary school, Khang decided to join the police force.
"I hope that after my military service, I can become a professional police officer, serving in the drug crime investigation police force like my father is doing," said Giang A Manh Khang.

Sharing the same dream of becoming a police officer, Hoang Hoai Son (24 years old, from Bac Kan) was born into a family of two brothers, his parents were farmers. In high school, he took the entrance exam to the People's Police Academy, but he was a few points short so he could not fulfill his dream.
Son then studied at Hanoi Law University, graduated and worked at a law office for a year with a salary of more than 10 million VND. However, his dream of becoming a police officer was still burning, so he decided to put his job aside and apply for police service.
"My first goal is to successfully complete the assigned tasks and serve the Fatherland. Next, I will try my best to achieve my dream of becoming a regular police officer," Son said.
He said that after 3 months of rookie training, he had acquired a lot of knowledge and skills. This was the premise for him to strive to stay in the police force.
