Continuing the program of the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly, today (June 4), the National Assembly began the question and answer session. The first two groups of issues that National Assembly Deputies will ask questions about are Natural Resources and Environment; Industry and Trade.

The question and answer session at the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly will take place over 2.5 days (from June 4 to 6), broadcast live on television and radio for voters and people to follow; focusing on 4 groups of issues in the fields of: Natural Resources and Environment, Industry and Trade, Audit, Culture - Sports and Tourism.
The National Assembly spent the whole day working in the hall to conduct questions and answers from National Assembly deputies.
It is expected that the question and answer session at the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly will be televised and broadcast live for voters and the people to follow. National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man will give opening and closing remarks; and will also preside over the question and answer session for each field.
In the morning, the National Assembly Chairman chaired the first group of questions in the field of Natural Resources and Environment: Management, exploitation and protection of national marine resources; Implementation of policies and laws on water security; solutions to prevent and combat drought, saltwater intrusion, water shortage, depletion and pollution; Solutions to research, explore, exploit and use mineral resources as construction materials and rare resources and minerals.
The people answering the questions are the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment; Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha; Ministers of the Ministries of Planning and Investment, Finance, Agriculture and Rural Development, Construction, and Transport, who also participated in answering questions and explaining related issues.
In the afternoon, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment and relevant Government members continued to answer questions on the first group of issues.
Next, the National Assembly Chairman chaired the questioning session on the second group of issues in the field of industry and trade: Management, supervision, and protection of consumer rights in e-commerce activities; Solutions to boost export activities, promote the implementation of FTAs, and remove difficulties for businesses in the context of the world situation continuing to fluctuate in a complex and unpredictable manner. + Implementation of policies and laws to develop supporting industries and mechanical industries, especially in serving the processing of agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products, and developing agriculture and rural areas.
Respondents: Minister of Industry and Trade; Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha; Ministers of the Ministries of Planning and Investment, Finance, Agriculture and Rural Development, Science and Technology, Information and Communications, and Foreign Affairs participated in answering questions and explaining related issues.
From 9:00 a.m. on June 5, the National Assembly will begin questioning and answering questions on the third group of issues in the field of Audit. In this group of issues, the National Assembly will question and answer questions on the following contents: Responsibilities and solutions to overcome the situation of enterprises and projects that have been audited but still have violations; Implementation of conclusions and recommendations of the State Audit; Prevention and combat of corruption and negativity in state audit activities; solutions to overcome overlap in inspection and audit.
The person responsible for answering is State Auditor General Ngo Van Tuan. The Ministers of Planning and Investment, Finance, Public Security, and Government Inspector General also participated in answering questions and explaining related issues.
From 3 p.m. on the same day, the National Assembly will question the fourth group of issues in the field of Culture, Sports and Tourism. National Assembly deputies will question the selection, training and policies for athletes and artists in the arts; job creation for athletes and artists after the peak competition and performance period; the implementation of tasks and solutions to stimulate and restore tourism in 2024 and the following years; solutions to develop night tourism products; special policies to attract investment in cultural, sports and tourism activities in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung is responsible for answering questions. Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha; Ministers of Planning and Investment, Finance, Transport, Education and Training, Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, Home Affairs; Minister - Chairman of the Ethnic Committee also participates in answering questions and explaining related issues.
According to the Program, after the fourth group of questions and answers session ends, from 9:50 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. on June 6, the Government leader will make a statement clarifying related issues and answering questions from National Assembly deputies. The question and answer session is expected to end in the late morning of June 6 with a closing speech by the National Assembly Chairman.
