National conference to implement laws and resolutions of the National Assembly

Attending the conference at the Bac Kan provincial bridge point were Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dang Binh; leaders of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the People's Court, the People's Procuracy, the Provincial People's Council Committees and the Department of Justice.

The 9th extraordinary session of the 15th National Assembly considered and approved 4 laws and 5 resolutions related to the reorganization of the state apparatus; considered and approved 3 other resolutions to promote the country's socio-economic development, along with specific, special, urgent and necessary mechanisms and policies for a number of important projects and works. The majority of the draft laws and resolutions were submitted by the Government.

Of the 4 laws and 8 resolutions, 1 law takes effect from the date of passage; 2 laws take effect from March 1, 2025; 1 law takes effect from April 1, 2025, the remaining resolutions all take effect from the date of passage.

The contents of the laws and resolutions closely follow the Party's policies and guidelines, ensuring timely service for the revolution of restructuring and streamlining the organizational apparatus, meeting the very high requirements of the country to enter a new era; creating specific, special, urgent and necessary mechanisms and policies for a number of important projects and works.

Immediately after the end of the Session, the Government and the Prime Minister assigned the ministries to draft plans to implement laws and resolutions and submit them to the Prime Minister for promulgation. Up to now, there has been 1 plan to implement the Law on Government Organization submitted to the Prime Minister for consideration and promulgation; 2 plans to implement the Law on Organization of Local Government and the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents are being revised and completed according to comments from ministries, branches and localities to submit to the Prime Minister.

At the Conference, delegates from ministries, branches and localities agreed that the new laws and resolutions have promptly institutionalized the Party's policies. Regarding the implementation of the reorganization of the state apparatus, the laws and resolutions that have been developed and issued are breakthroughs in organization, arrangement and operation, ensuring streamlining, effectiveness, efficiency, unity and transparency. In addition, the resolutions stipulating specific, special, urgent and necessary policy mechanisms will solve new problems and new trends, and encourage the development of science and technology.

Concluding the Conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested sectors and localities to continue to effectively implement laws and resolutions according to the motto "Clear people, clear work, clear progress, clear products and clear responsibilities" in accordance with legal regulations, not to be perfectionist or hasty, and to effectively implement policy communication work.

The Prime Minister requested heads of ministries and localities to directly direct and review legal and practical problems to promptly supplement and effectively implement the contents of laws and resolutions that have been issued./.
