The report of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee said that in 2024, the socio-economic situation of Nghe An province has many positive and quite comprehensive changes in all sectors and fields; it is expected to complete and exceed 27/28 planned targets. Nghe An's GRDP this year is expected to reach 9.01%. State budget revenue is estimated at 23,751 billion VND, reaching 149.3% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council. FDI attraction reached over 977 million USD and the whole year is estimated at 1.696 billion USD. Total export turnover of goods is estimated at 3.2 billion USD. The disbursement rate of public investment reached nearly 70%, striving to reach over 97% by the end of 2024; many key projects are completed on schedule.
