Conference on evaluating and classifying OCOP products, phase 1 - year 2023

Ham Tan District People's Committee has just held a conference to evaluate and classify OCOP products - 2023.

At the conference, the subjects with products participating in the One Commune One Product Program, Phase 1, 2023 are: Suoi Gieng Taiwanese Mango in Suoi Gieng Hamlet, Tan Duc Commune; Hoa Loc Tan Xuan Sand Mango in Lang Gon 1 Hamlet, Tan Xuan Commune; Ensolife Loofah Bath Sponge in Co Kieu Hamlet, Tan Thang Commune; Song Phan Commune Dry Chili Powder in Tan Hoa Hamlet, Song Phan Commune.

The members of the Council for evaluating and classifying products participating in the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program of the district have carefully studied and examined the products for evaluation and scoring. The evaluated products have many improvements in quality, diverse designs, ensuring conditions and regulations on stamps, labels, and traceability of product origin. The products originate from the needs of people's lives, the raw materials are all from agricultural products made by people and available locally; meeting the needs of consumers; aiming to preserve the cultural identity of Vietnamese people.

The evaluation results of the OCOP product evaluation and classification council members of the district assessed all 4 products to have achieved 3-star OCOP at the provincial level. This is the basis for continuing to complete the dossier and transfer it to the OCOP product evaluation and classification council of the province as the basis for considering and deciding to grant stars to the products.

Through evaluation and ranking, we aim to discover and honor agricultural products with high quality, high usage value, and potential for large-scale production development. Thereby, helping people in the district promote and introduce their products to the market.
