63rd Provincial Party Executive Committee Conference

On January 25, the Provincial Party Committee held its 63rd meeting to discuss and give opinions on the project and plan to reorganize the apparatus according to the conclusion of the Central Steering Committee on summarizing the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the Party Central Committee. Comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, chaired the meeting.

At the conference, the members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee focused on discussing and highly agreed with the proposal of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the plan to reorganize the apparatus according to the conclusion of the Central Steering Committee.

Accordingly, the activities of the Party Committee of the provincial agencies were ended, 41 grassroots party organizations with 3,650 party members of agencies and units under the Provincial People's Committee were transferred to the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee, 21 grassroots party organizations and 818 party members of Party agencies, unions, People's Councils, judiciary, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and State to the Party Committee of the provincial Party agencies; the activities of the Party Committees and Party Delegations were ended according to the Central's direction.

At the same time, establish Party Committees of provincial Party agencies and Party Committees of provincial People's Committee; merge the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department into the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.

Concluding the conference, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, emphasized that at the 13th Central Committee Conference that just ended on January 24, the Central Committee highly agreed with the summary report of Resolution 18 and the plan to streamline the organizational apparatus of the political system. At the same time, it required ministries, departments, branches, units and localities to have very high political determination, synchronously implement measures on the basis of inheriting the results achieved after 7 years of implementing the Resolution, especially the causes and lessons learned by the Central Steering Committee on summarizing Resolution 18. Thereby, promoting the revolution in streamlining the organizational apparatus, meeting the requirements and tasks of the country and the demands of the people in the new era. The Central Executive Committee also agreed with the 2025 socio-economic development supplementary project with the target of 8% growth or more and continuous double-digit growth in the 2026-2030 period; agreed to report on the review of the direction and administration of the Politburo and Secretariat in 2024 and decided on a number of personnel issues.

The Provincial Party Secretary also affirmed that the organization of conferences during the 2025 Lunar New Year holidays shows the determination and determination of Quang Ninh province in implementing the plan to reorganize the apparatus in accordance with the direction of the Central Committee. He requested the members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee to promote the spirit of exemplary behavior, responsibility, solidarity, flexibility and creativity in the implementation process to synchronously carry out the plan to reorganize the apparatus, ensuring smooth and effective operation of the units after establishment as well as of the entire political system. Thereby, creating a foundation for Quang Ninh to firmly enter the era of development and prosperity of the country.
