On August 23, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Van Hieu said that the department has directed the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City and 21 districts, public high schools in Ho Chi Minh City to be ready to receive students transferring from the American International Primary, Secondary and High School (Nha Be District, Ho Chi Minh City).
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu, from August 26, public schools in Ho Chi Minh City will start the new school year. As the new school year is approaching, ensuring the rights of students must be a top priority.
Therefore, parents should not wait for the American International Primary, Secondary and High School to be qualified to resume operations, but should quickly carry out the school transfer procedures to ensure the continuity of students' learning.
The leader of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City said that if parents encounter financial difficulties or difficulties in transferring their students to other schools, the public school system will create all conditions to accept students from the American International Primary, Secondary and High School.
Previously, after listening to the American International School report on the contents of ensuring the resumption of operations and transferring students, and listening to the opinions of the specialized departments under the Department, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Bao Quoc requested that the American International School not organize a survey to determine whether students will continue to study at the school or not.
In addition, during the suspension period, the school is not allowed to organize any educational activities.

According to the request of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, schools must notify parents of school transfers and guide parents through transfer procedures before the new school year begins so as not to affect students' enrollment time.
Schools must comply with current regulations. If there is any illegal behavior, the department will take measures to ensure that the school complies with the regulations.
When the unit submits a complete application and sufficient evidence to ensure the conditions for resuming operations, the department will consider the request for a license to resume educational operations.
Up to now, American International Primary, Secondary and High School has not completed the approval documents for the integrated program, and has not provided evidence showing sufficient financial resources to ensure the maintenance and development of educational activities, so it is not qualified to resume operations.
Currently, according to reports from schools accepting students from American International Primary, Secondary and High School and information on the online transfer page at https://chuyentruong.hcm.edu.vn, more than 300 students from American International Primary, Secondary and High School have completed transfer applications.
