DTO - At the beginning of 2024, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association (LHA) developed a plan to organize literary and artistic activities to concretize the full-term program of activities of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association for the 2023-2028 term, focusing on cultural and artistic activities to celebrate the Party - celebrate Spring, important holidays and events of the province. The Provincial Literature and Arts Association coordinated with the Cao Lanh City Culture, Sports and Broadcasting Center to organize an art experience of making paintings, giving away free woodblock prints to over 1,000 visitors; exhibiting 50 paintings on the theme of the homeland, with lotus flowers as the main image in the Van Mieu Park area (Ward 1, Cao Lanh City).

The Folk Arts Association organized a study of the Great Elder Monk Tri Dong's Tower, the 39th generation of the Lam Te lineage, the founder of Long Son Pagoda, Thanh Binh District; surveyed folk belief relics such as Dinh Yen Communal House (Lap Vo District), the Temple of Duke Tran Van Nang (Thanh Binh District), An Binh Communal House (Cao Lanh District); Bang Lang Temple, Nga Bat Temple (Cao Lanh City)... In addition, the Fine Arts Association organized a training course on skills in creating rubber carving materials. The Photography Association organized a training course on AI application software in artistic and commercial photography for members, officials, civil servants, and public employees of provincial departments, branches, and sectors.
Specialized associations: Cinema, Television, Music, Theater, Fine Arts, Literature, Folk Arts organized training combined with field trips to compose and summarize specialized topics in the provinces: Tra Vinh, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Bac Lieu, Ca Mau. Comrade Nguyen Duy Trung - Chairman of the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts, said: "Implementing Plan No. 224 dated January 31, 2024 of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee on organizing activities to summarize 50 years of Dong Thap Literature and Arts after the country's reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and following the guidance of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department (now the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department), the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue a plan to organize a Song and Literature Composition Camp about Dong Thap. Accordingly, the Song Composition Camp has 30 musicians from inside and outside the province participating, the Literature Composition Camp has 25 poets and writers from inside and outside the province participating. The expected time to summarize the composition camp is April 2025.
On the occasion of the first Sa Dec Flower and Ornamental Festival taking place from December 30, 2023 to January 5, 2024 in Sa Dec City, the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts organized an exhibition of 100 art photos with the theme "Sa Dec Love of Land - Love of Flowers" and 100 photos with the theme "Sa Dec Past and Present"; coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize the summary and award ceremony of the "Sa Dec Love of Land - Love of Flowers" art photography contest. On the occasion of the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024) and the 55th anniversary of implementing his Testament (1969 - 2024), the Provincial Literature and Arts Association in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a Music and Poetry Night with the theme "Melody of the Pink Lotus Land" with unique and attractive art performances praising President Ho Chi Minh, the pure beauty of lotus flowers, land and people of Dong Thap, attracting over 500 spectators.
District and city Literature and Arts Associations maintain and organize cultural and arts activities in accordance with the practical situation of the locality. For example, Cao Lanh District Literature and Arts Association held a Congress to dissolve the District Historical Science and Literature and Arts Association, then reorganized the organization in a streamlined manner, with activities closely following the functions and tasks of the Association. At the same time, it organized the awarding of Certificates and awards to 25 authors whose literary and artistic works won prizes in the contest on "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style". Cao Lanh City Literature and Arts Association held a Congress to dissolve and reorganize, established and elected additional Executive Committees of 2 Historical Science and Literature and Arts Associations according to the instructions of superiors, and published the publication Dat Sen Hong Xuan with a quantity of 300 copies.
The Provincial Association of Literature and Arts determines the direction of cultural and arts activities in 2025 as continuing to strengthen timely grasp of ideology, widely propagate the Party's guidelines, the State's laws and policies; key plans and programs of the province to cadres, party members, the masses in the Association and members. Coordinate with agencies, units, localities in the province and central specialized associations to organize anniversaries, historical, political and cultural events in the province. Along with that, organize the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), especially promoting the implementation of Plan No. 224 dated January 31, 2024 of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee on organizing activities to summarize 50 years of Dong Thap Literature and Arts after the country's reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
