Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just issued a Plan to support investment attraction activities in ethnic minority and mountainous areas (EM&M) under the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development of EM&M in Khanh Hoa province for the period 2021 - 2025.
The plan is implemented to exploit the potential advantages of investment promotion, trade and tourism in ethnic minority and mountainous areas to support the process of economic restructuring towards increasing the proportion of goods and services in extremely disadvantaged communes in ethnic minority and mountainous areas based on local potential and strengths.
At the same time, creating jobs and stable income combined with preserving and promoting traditional cultural values of ethnic minority communities.
Accordingly, Khanh Hoa province will implement a number of key support activities such as organizing promotion activities, attracting investment, connecting product consumption, fairs, exchanges, forums, festivals associated with tourism trade; supporting the construction and implementation of a number of models to consume products of ethnic minority and mountainous areas and supply essential goods; organizing training courses to develop trade human resources.
In addition, strengthen communication to promote products of ethnic minority and mountainous areas. This includes organizing competitions, producing short reports to propagate and promote products of ethnic minority and mountainous areas; reporting on trade, tourism, and investment promotion on news programs and political programs...

The funding source is from the annual state budget allocated to support investment attraction in ethnic minority and mountainous areas under Sub-project 2 - Project 3 of the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas for the period 2021 - 2030, phase 1: from 2021 to 2025 in Khanh Hoa province.
Regarding the content of organizing training courses to develop commercial human resources, it is implemented according to the provisions at Point b, Clause 1, Article 1 of Circular No. 55 of the Ministry of Finance.
Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Ethnic Committee to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches, sectors and localities to guide the implementation of investment attraction activities in ethnic minority and mountainous areas under Content No. 3, Sub-project 2 - Project 3 of the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas.
At the same time, monitor, inspect, supervise, and promptly propose to the Provincial People's Committee to adjust and supplement the contents that need to be revised to suit local reality.
In particular, the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities need to identify the needs and develop and approve phased and annual plans in accordance with the socio-economic development of the locality; direct local authorities to implement them to ensure the right goals and achieve results.
