Coach Mano Polking appeared at the Football Association of Thailand (FAT) headquarters yesterday (November 30). The coach with dual German and Brazilian citizenship officially said goodbye to the football authorities of the Land of the Golden Temple.
Not only coach Mano Polking left his position, the entire coaching staff of the Thai team was also disbanded after the match with Singapore on November 21, within the framework of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in Asia.

FAT President Somyot Poompunmuang said: "As FAT President, I would like to wish Coach Mano Polking and the former members of the Thai national team's coaching staff continued success in their professional football careers."
"I would like to thank coach Mano Polking and his coaching staff for all their hard work over the past two years," added FAT president Somyot Poompunmuang.
Notably, the head of the Thai national team, Nualphan Lamsam (commonly known as Madam Pang), did not appear at the FAT headquarters on the farewell day of coach Mano Polking yesterday.

Madam Pang two years ago supported coach Mano Polking to be the head coach of the Thai national team before the 2020 AFF Cup, in the context that few people wanted to take over this team. In recent months, Madam Pang is said to support coach Masatada Ishii (Japanese) to replace coach Mano Polking.
As for coach Mano Polking, after officially saying goodbye to Thai football and finishing his contract with the Golden Temple team, this could be a move to pave the way for the coach with dual German and Brazilian citizenship to look for new contracts.
Previously, the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City Club revealed that Coach Mano Polking was on the list of candidates for the position of head coach of the city team, alongside candidates Chung Hae Seong, Park Hang Seo and Lee Young Jin (all Korean).
