Galaxy S24 FE camera revealed

According to a leak from GalaxyClub, the camera system of the Galaxy S23 FE successor model has been revealed.

Accordingly, the Galaxy S24 FE with the code name R12 will have a Samsung GN3 50 MP main camera. It is a 1/1.57 inch camera sensor with a maximum resolution of 8,160 x 6,144 pixels.

It is expected that the ultra-wide and zoom cameras on the Galaxy S24 FE will also remain unchanged compared to its predecessor, the S23 FE.

Previously, according to a report from Chinese social network Weibo, the Galaxy S24 FE could be the largest FE device in the company's product portfolio. Instead of the 6.1-inch size like its predecessors, the S24 FE will have a 6.7-inch screen. The large screen means the device will offer the same display experience as the Galaxy S24 Plus but at a lower price.

According to the leak, the Galaxy S24 FE will have 12GB of LPDD5x Ram, with two storage options of 128GB and 256GB. The device will have a 4500mAh battery and is expected to offer 25W wired fast charging and 15W wireless like its predecessor.

On the front, the S24 FE will feature a 2x Dynamix AMOLED display and it is very likely that the device will feature an Exynos chip for the global market.

According to Phonearena, the Galaxy S24 FE will launch later this year, but there are also sources saying it will be early 2025. The phone will likely be available in select markets later this year and more widely available next year.
