(LĐ online) - On the afternoon of April 8, Comrade Nguyen Thai Hoc - Acting Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee had a working session with the National Assembly Delegation of the XVth term of Lam Dong province on the results of the implementation of tasks in the first quarter of 2025 and coordination with provincial agencies in implementing the tasks.

Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Thai Hoc acknowledged and highly appreciated the results of the activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and hoped that the Delegation would promote its voice for the common good.

Attending the working session, on behalf of the Lam Dong National Assembly Delegation, there were comrade Lam Van Doan - Vice Chairman of the Social Committee of the National Assembly, Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province; National Assembly Delegate Nguyen Tao - Member of the National Assembly's Committee for People's Aspirations and Supervision; Full-time National Assembly Delegate Trinh Thi Tu Anh - Member of the National Assembly's Committee for Science and Technology; National Assembly Delegate K' Nhieu - Member of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council Pham Thi Phuc acknowledged the recommendations of the National Assembly Delegation and hoped to receive active cooperation from the National Assembly Delegation.

Delegate Nguyen Tao proposed to pay attention to strengthening public asset management, preventing waste, and ensuring water resource safety and security.

In 2024 and 2025, the organization of the National Assembly Delegation will have some major changes. From July 1, 2024, Comrade Nguyen Tao - Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province will retire according to the regime. From October 1, 2024, Comrade Tran Dinh Van - Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province will stop working as a National Assembly Delegate. From October 20, 2024, the Party Delegation of the National Assembly assigned Comrade Lam Van Doan - Deputy Chairman of the Social Committee of the National Assembly, National Assembly Delegate of Lam Dong province to temporarily take charge of the National Assembly Delegation of the province and perform the duties of Head of the Party Cell of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province.

On January 6, 2025, the National Assembly Standing Committee issued Resolution No. 1345/NQ-UBTVQH15 assigning comrade Trinh Thi Tu Anh as a full-time National Assembly Deputy of the XV term of Lam Dong province.

On March 30, 2025, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly issued Resolution No. 1564/NQ-UBTVQH15 approving the election results of Comrade Lam Van Doan - Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Culture and Social Affairs, concurrently Head of the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies of the 15th term of Lam Dong province.

Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Vo Ngoc Hiep received and acknowledged the opinions of the National Assembly Delegation.

Up to now, the provincial National Assembly Delegation consists of 3 Central delegates and 3 local delegates, specifically as follows: 1 delegate is a member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee; 1 delegate is Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Social Affairs, concurrently Head of the Delegation; 1 delegate works part-time as a member of the National Assembly's Committee on Law and Justice; 1 delegate works full-time in the locality as a member of the National Assembly's Committee on Science, Technology and Environment; 1 delegate is a lawyer, working part-time as a member of the National Assembly's Committee on Petitions and Supervision; 1 delegate is Deputy Head of the Science Management Department, Department of Science and Technology of Lam Dong province, is an ethnic minority delegate, working part-time as a member of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council.

Regarding legislative work, at the 9th Extraordinary Session of the 15th National Assembly, the National Assembly Delegation studied and synthesized comments on 4 draft laws; 12 resolutions to implement the arrangement of the state apparatus and decide on personnel work under its authority; reviewed and commented on 6 resolutions to promote the country's socio-economic development and specific, special, urgent and necessary investment policies, mechanisms and policies for a number of important projects and works.

At the 7th Conference of Full-time National Assembly Deputies, 15th National Assembly, full-time National Assembly Deputies attended and gave opinions on 9 draft laws submitted to the National Assembly at the 9th Session, 15th National Assembly.

Regarding supervision work, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies implemented thematic supervision of "Implementation of policies and laws on environmental protection since the Law on Environmental Protection 2020 took effect in Lam Dong province", issued a Plan, outline, and appendix to the supervised subjects for reporting.

The National Assembly Deputies of the Delegation participated with the Supervision and Survey Delegations of the National Assembly Committees to survey and work in localities and participate in conferences and seminars organized by the National Assembly Council and National Assembly Committees such as: The Committee for Science, Technology and Environment organized a Seminar on the Development of Human Resources for Nuclear Energy at Da Lat University and conducted a survey to serve the review of the Draft Law on Atomic Energy (amended) at the Da Lat Nuclear Research Institute; The Economic and Financial Committee surveyed and worked on the implementation of planning, land use plans and the issuance of documents implementing the Land Law under its authority in Lam Dong province; The workshop "Policy for the development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas; Proposing a Draft Law for the ethnic sector" organized by the National Assembly Council in Hue City; The workshop to collect opinions on the draft Law on the Election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council Deputies (amended) organized by the Delegation Work Committee in Can Tho City; Attending the working session of the National Assembly Standing Committee's working delegation led by comrade Nguyen Duc Hai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly with Lam Dong province and the Nuclear Research Institute on the implementation of Resolution 193/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly...

The Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies has created a schedule for the Delegation's leaders and National Assembly Deputies to participate and coordinate in receiving citizens with the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee on the 15th and 25th of each month at the Provincial Citizen Reception Office. As a result, in the first 3 months of the year, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies processed 100 petitions; of which, 11 petitions were transferred to competent agencies, 38 petitions were answered and guided, 51 petitions were filed; the urge for competent agencies to respond to the requests of the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies and National Assembly Deputies was strengthened, and the work of receiving and handling petitions, complaints, denunciations and recommendations from voters was linked to the monitoring activities of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies.

The National Assembly Deputies of the Delegation fully attended the 9th Extraordinary Session of the 15th National Assembly. With more than 10 speeches and discussions, in groups and in the hall, the National Assembly Deputies focused on researching and giving enthusiastic comments on major policies in draft laws related to the organization of the apparatus from the Central to local levels, as well as specific pilot policies to remove obstacles and difficulties in order to achieve the goal of socio-economic growth in the coming time; at the same time, they considered and decided on personnel work to ensure strictness, seriousness, correct procedures, objectivity and transparency.

Regarding social work, during the Lunar New Year 2025, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and its National Assembly Deputies actively mobilized organizations and individuals to support funding and gifts, to coordinate with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Provincial Labor Federation to participate in social work; visited and presented gifts to policy families, vulnerable groups in society, workers, and children in difficult circumstances to celebrate the traditional New Year with a total value of more than 600 million VND in cash and gifts; visited and wished a happy New Year to former local leaders and former National Assembly Deputies of the province through the periods.

In the context of major changes in organization, apparatus and personnel, the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province has promoted the spirit of responsibility, solidarity, unity, striving, successfully completing the tasks assigned by the Party, the National Assembly, and the Provincial Party Committee; activities of receiving citizens, resolving complaints and denunciations of citizens... have many positive changes. At the National Assembly sessions, the delegates actively participated in discussions, contributed opinions in the work of legislation, supervision and decision on important issues of the country.

Achieving the above results is the result of the efforts, constant improvement, innovation, and enhancement of the quality of activities of the leaders of the National Assembly Delegation and each individual National Assembly Delegate of the Delegation.

In addition, in the last 6 months of 2024 and in the first quarter of 2025, the organization of the National Assembly Delegation is in the process of being consolidated; the Head of the Delegation is the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Committee concurrently; the full-time National Assembly delegate is strengthened but is not the full-time Deputy Head of the Delegation, therefore, it also affects the activities of the Delegation, especially the participation in some activities of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee that require the participation of the leaders of the National Assembly Delegation.

At the working session, the National Assembly deputies frankly and openly discussed, proposed and recommended many existing issues such as: Strengthening the management of public assets, avoiding waste of state assets such as the hundreds of villas in Da Lat city that are still left empty; national defense land fund, project land, environmental inadequacies, waste treatment, water security seriously affecting the lives of today's and future generations; strengthening coordination with the Delegation and National Assembly deputies in receiving people, handling complaints and denunciations; timely coordination in providing documents and reports for deputies to grasp and promptly inform voters, especially ethnic minorities in the province...

Representatives of the leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province also said that it is necessary to strengthen better coordination with the Delegation and National Assembly Deputies to promptly handle arising issues; aiming to ensure the legal and legitimate rights of voters and people.

Concluding the working session, Acting Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thai Hoc acknowledged and highly appreciated the position and role of the National Assembly Delegation, especially through monitoring the recent time when the Delegation has been very active in participating in the National Assembly forum, expressing the voice of Lam Dong National Assembly Deputies on many issues of interest to voters, many issues of the country and locality.

Taking note of and listening to the opinions, recommendations and reflections of the Delegation and the delegates, especially the big and difficult issues as raised by delegate Nguyen Tao on waste prevention, public asset management, on the shortcomings and inadequacies in large projects that have lasted for many years, on the management of the ancient villa fund of Da Lat, on national defense land, on water security, environment, etc., the Acting Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee said that it is necessary to increase information exchange, coordination, and create high consensus on the issues before the province makes recommendations to the Central Government; hoping that the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies will share the current difficulties of the province and together study and propose solutions to help the locality; continue to pay attention and demonstrate the responsibility of delegates to voters and localities, all for the common good.

The Acting Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that the voice of National Assembly deputies on the National Assembly forum is very important, so he hopes to have timely feedback and recommendations, ensuring common interests, clearly expressing the opinions of the Party Committee, government and people of Lam Dong province.
