Journey to build a 'million view' TikTok channel of FPT University alumni

Hanoi Nguyen Ngoc Huyen (26 years old) created the TikTok channel Nha Mim Chong to share about the life of a young couple and received more than 21 million "likes".

After more than a year of making TikTok, Ngoc Huyen and her husband's channel has attracted more than 430 thousand followers with many positive comments from the online community. She regularly posts diary videos about her and her husband's daily moments such as conversations between the two, trips, family visits, hanging out with friends, and times when they are angry with each other...

Through that, viewers see a young, cute couple, with both humorous and touching moments. The female TikToker shared that with each video, she wants to convey the message: No matter what happens, both understand that they are young and have many shortcomings, but will still try together for the journey of self-improvement and the common home ahead.

Initially, Ngoc Huyen created a TikTok channel because she wanted to preserve memories with her family. However, later, when she received positive feedback, she was determined to build a serious channel with the motto "Here to help you overcome your fear of getting married". For the former student of FPT University, when entering marriage with her college sweetheart, building a family had many difficulties, but there was also no shortage of lovely points and happiness.

"I want to spread that positive energy to young people among the myriad of conflicting content out there," she added.

During this process, Ngoc Huyen often felt that the profession had negative and prejudiced aspects. When filming her experience at the restaurant, she received many unfriendly looks, pointing fingers from people around her and whispers "TikTok-ers again".

The young girl decided to work hard on creating "clean" content and try harder to prove herself with bigger projects. Ngoc Huyen affirmed that she has her own moral standards so she will not trade gossip for fame. She not only exploits her interesting married life, but also spreads the image of an independent, confident girl who lives kindly and loves everyone.

Before becoming a "million-view content creator", Ngoc Huyen was a Marketing major at FPT University in Hanoi. After 4 years of exciting study with many specialized assignments and extracurricular activities, she acquired expertise and at the same time, became more active.

From the experiences of doing events and working as a media collaborator for the school, former students got Marketing jobs at large units such as Orion Media and FPT Software right after graduation.

According to Ngoc Huyen, freelance content creation requires the application of a lot of formal knowledge about communication. In the process of building her TikTok channel and personal brand, she used her university graduation project related to "sustainable development" and "co-creating value" as a "guiding principle".

The content on the channel is all aimed at building a long-term brand. The 26-year-old girl always carefully checks the brand's products even if they only appear in the video for a few seconds. Every time she makes a short video, she always tries to convey positive values. At the same time, Ngoc Huyen accepts the contributions, concerns, and suggestions of viewers to create motivation, ideas, and improve herself.

For Ngoc Huyen, going to university not only "gained" a husband who is also a former student of FPT University, but also "gained" a job that brings lifelong happiness. "My time as a student at FPT University has discovered my hidden potential," she added.
