On the morning of March 20, Thanh Hoa Newspaper organized a meeting with generations of journalists to celebrate the 63rd anniversary of the first issue of Thanh Hoa Newspaper (March 20, 1962 - March 20, 2025).

At the meeting, generations of journalists reviewed the 63-year tradition of building and growing Thanh Hoa Newspaper. Since the first issue was published on March 20, 1962, Thanh Hoa Newspaper has made many innovations in content, form and developed diverse types of journalism.

Currently, Thanh Hoa Newspaper has 5 publications, including 3 printed publications: Thanh Hoa Daily; Thanh Hoa Monthly; Thanh Hoa Weekend; 2 electronic publications: Thanh Hoa Electronic and Culture and Life Special Page. Thanh Hoa Electronic Newspaper has a very large number of readers and is one of the local Party newspapers with the highest and most stable number of readers in the country.

In 2024, the total number of visits to Thanh Hoa Electronic Newspaper is estimated to reach more than 17.7 million (12 million in 2023). The Culture and Life electronic page will reach more than 1.1 million (1 million in 2023).

Speaking at the meeting, Editor-in-Chief of Thanh Hoa Newspaper Nguyen Viet Ba said: Along with propaganda on printed publications, Thanh Hoa Electronic Newspaper and the Culture and Life Electronic Page continue to have many innovations in content and form, especially in implementing multimedia news and articles. In particular, along with reporting and updating fully, promptly and accurately political events in the province, the country and the world, the Editorial Board has directed staff, reporters and editors to focus on producing E-Magazine, MegaStory, Longform and digital products, such as: Inforgrafic, Podcast, 6pm news, Weekly Perspective, Wow! Thanh Hoa column... with rich and attractive content.

In addition to the columns currently maintained on the e-newspaper, in 2024, the Editorial Board focused on directing the development of some additional digital content, such as: OCOP Review, economic news, weather news, international commentary; "Invitation to read Thanh Hoa Newspaper"... These contents have been promoted to spread on social networking platforms such as Tiktok, Youtube, Thanh Hoa Newspaper reading application on App Store and Google Play... thereby creating positive changes, high spread, increasing the number of readers, listeners, viewers, and accesses through channels and social platforms, in line with the development trend of modern journalism, keeping up with digital technology, digital transformation...

Editor-in-Chief of Thanh Hoa Newspaper Nguyen Viet Ba also summarized some main contents of the project to arrange and merge Thanh Hoa Newspaper and Thanh Hoa Radio and Television Station.

On this occasion, Editor-in-Chief of Thanh Hoa Newspaper Nguyen Viet Ba hopes that generations of Thanh Hoa Newspaper journalists will continue to stick together, accompany each other, and make valuable contributions to increase the diversity and attractiveness of the newspaper, contributing to the vitality and spread of publications, and building Thanh Hoa Newspaper to become increasingly stronger.
