As planned, the tourist train named “Connecting Central Heritage” from Hue to Da Nang officially started on the morning of March 26. On the Central Heritage journey, this special train will bring visitors endless experiences, exploring many famous landscapes, landscapes and relics.
Vietravel, Vietnam Railway Corporation, Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee and Da Nang City People's Committee have coordinated to hold the opening ceremony of the Hue - Da Nang train and vice versa. It is known that this is a project within the project to develop a set of 5-star cross-Vietnam train tourism products that Vietravel and Vietnam Railway Corporation have cooperated to promote and implement since the end of 2023.
Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Hoang Hai Minh - Vice Chairman of Thua Thien - Hue Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Tran Chi Cuong - Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee, Mr. Tran Anh Tuan - Deputy General Director of Vietnam Railways Corporation, Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh - Director of Da Nang Department of Tourism and Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc - Director of Thua Thien Hue Department of Tourism. Vietravel representatives were Mr. Vo Quang Lien Kha - Deputy General Director of the Company and Mr. Dang Nhu Da Thanh - Deputy Director of Vietravel Da Nang.
Also on the opening day of the train journey connecting the heritages in the Central region: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An officially came into operation, the first group of Vietravel guests with nearly 30 members also joined and enjoyed the new space, many entertainment activities on this 5-star train. With about 3 hours of travel, the group of Vietravel guests had time to enjoy the beautiful scenery through the glass windows. From the train, looking out into the distance, visitors will be satisfied with their vision when they can fully admire the majestic natural scenery, where heaven and earth meet; on one side is the immense ocean, on the other side is the Truong Son mountain range. Not only stopping at enjoying the scenery clearly visible outside the glass windows, visitors can also experience the cultural heritage, enjoy the unique cuisine of the Central region on this 5-star train journey.
In addition, the train will stop at Lang Co station for about 10 minutes so that visitors have more time to admire the magnificent beauty that nature has bestowed on the South Central Coast. Checking in with your family or "lover" at Lang Co Bay - one of the most beautiful bays in the world or watching the super romantic sunrise and sunset at this place will be an interesting experience that is hard to miss. Not only that, the coordinates known as "the most majestic pass in the world" - Hai Van Pass will also be on the route that this tourist train passes through. And this is also a super beautiful railway route, which has been listed by some international newspapers as one of the most worth-experiencing railway routes in the world.
During its initial operation, the “Connecting Central Heritage” tourist train consists of 05 soft-seat, air-conditioned carriages and 01 community activity carriage serving unique cultural and culinary programs for each region. This will certainly be a super impressive mobile check-in point for many domestic and foreign tourists who are passionate about traveling.
As previously shared by Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietravel Group, the 5-Star Train Project across Vietnam that Vietravel and Vietnam Railways Corporation jointly promote and implement, provides tourists with special travel experiences and international standard services. In addition, the new multi-modal tourism model "ONE TICKET ALL TRAILS" is also gradually taking shape. With the aim of providing a comprehensive travel ticket, it also expands the experience opportunities for tourists through the combination of many different forms of transportation: from air to rail.
