Vietravel Airlines appoints new General Director

On September 4, 2024, Vietravel Airlines officially appointed a new General Director - Mr. Dao Duc Vu after Mr. Nguyen Minh Hai resigned. This is a task to complete the airline's senior leadership.

On the morning of September 4, 2024, at the headquarters of Vietravel Airlines , the appointment ceremony of the new General Director took place through the Decision to appoint the position of General Director of the company with Mr. Dao Duc Vu from September 4, 2024, after the Board of Directors approved the resignation of Mr. Nguyen Minh Hai for personal reasons. Mr. Dao Duc Vu has more than 35 years of experience in the aviation industry, having held many senior leadership positions at agencies and enterprises such as Vietnam Airlines, Cambodia Angkor Air, Vietjet, Bamboo Airways. During the period from 2020 - 2022, he held the position of Deputy General Director and the person primarily responsible for management, supervision of flight operations and training of flight crews of Vietravel Airlines. And Mr. Dao Duc Vu will officially hold the executive position of Vietravel Airlines from September 4, 2024.

The new General Director said, “I highly appreciate the achievements that Vietravel Airlines has achieved in the past time. With the trust and confidence of the Board of Directors, I pledge to continue to inherit and promote the core values ​​and business philosophy of the airline, and at the same time wish to contribute to the sustainable development of Vietravel Airlines in the future.” At the appointment ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietravel Airlines shared, “Vietravel Airlines is entering a new development phase with many important goals set by the Board of Directors. Therefore, the appointment of Mr. Dao Duc Vu is expected to play an important role in helping Vietravel Airlines promote its flight expansion plans and affirm its strong mark in the aviation market.”
