In the first 6 months of the year, Ham Yen district focused on directing agricultural and forestry production according to the seasonal framework, the total spring food output reached over 24,500 tons, reaching 100.9% of the plan; planted over 2,000 hectares of forest, reaching over 79% of the plan; granted forest certificates according to FSC standards over 5,300 hectares; completed the assessment and classification of 13 more 3-star OCOP products, 15 products were certified with trademarks, 1 product was recognized with geographical indications; 11/17 communes met new rural standards.

The industrial production value of the whole district reached nearly 860 billion VND, reaching over 50% of the plan; attracting over 86.5 thousand tourists, social revenue from tourism reached over 103 billion VND.

In the last 6 months of 2024, the District Party Committee requested to focus on implementing key tasks such as: Focusing on site clearance and resettlement for the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway project and key projects; focusing on directing Yen Lam, Yen Thuan, Bang Coc, and Thai Hoa communes to implement the criteria for achieving new rural areas and advanced new rural areas according to the roadmap. At the same time, speed up construction progress, soon complete resettlement areas; organize meetings to consider and assign resettlement to households...
