The two works were translated by Nha Thuyen and Kaitlin Rees - translators of I see yellow flowers in the green grass by Nguyen Nhat Anh. The story is about childhood memories, first love, love of nature and animals. "We believe that when translating, books in the literary genre are always the first choice because they easily evoke empathy in readers from any culture," said the publisher.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam - Deputy Director of Tre Publishing House, this year for the first time the unit has its own booth at the 75th Frankfurt International Book Fair (Germany) - taking place in October. The unit will introduce two books by Nguyen Nhat Anh and many works by Bao Ninh, Nguyen Ngoc Tu, Nguyen Ngoc Thuan, and Duong Thuy.

Writer Nguyen Nhat Anh is happy that his books are being translated into foreign languages. According to him, in order for domestic literature to have the opportunity to go abroad, publishing units need to have a clear direction and proactively promote at international book fairs.

The story Sitting and Crying on the Tree tells the story of a male student named Dong and a 14-year-old girl. When returning to his hometown in Quang Nam, Dong met Rua - a girl with special circumstances when she was seriously ill, only studying until grade 5. The two gradually fell in love but a secret was revealed, causing them to separate. The work is tinged with sadness and focuses more on the character's psychology than the familiar gentle style of Nguyen Nhat Anh. The story became a hit in 2013, selling over 100,000 copies. Wishing a Good Day was completed by the writer from Quang Nam in early 2014. The book opens up a garden with the main character being the pig Lo Noi and his dog friend Mom Short, the son of Ms. Ven, the mother Nai Se, Mr. Doi Xoan, Canh Penguin and the chicks of Ms. Mai Hoa.

Nguyen Nhat Anh has had many works copyrighted and published in many languages such as: Blue Eyes (Japanese version - 2004), Give me a ticket to childhood (Thai - 2011, Korean - 2013, English - 2014, Japanese - 2020), The girl from yesterday (included in the Vietnamese language teaching program of MV Lomonosov Moscow University - 2012), I see yellow flowers on the green grass (Japanese - 2017, English - 2018), Passing through chrysanthemums (Japanese - 2020), I am Beto (Korean - 2021).
