Thai Nguyen responds to Book Day and Reading Culture

On April 18, Thai Nguyen Provincial Library coordinated with Song Cong High School and the Department of Education and Training of Song Cong City to organize the Book and Reading Culture Day of Thai Nguyen Province in 2025 with the theme "Together entering the era of national development". Leaders of departments and branches and more than 1,000 students from high schools and middle schools in the area attended the event.

The festival took place with many meaningful activities such as: Propaganda contest, introducing books through dramatization with the theme "The book I love"; artistic book stacking contest; book space display; donating books to build school libraries; free reading on mobile library vehicles; game show "Little wise man"...

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism presented books to the units.

On this occasion, the Provincial Library donated 2,000 books of the Collection of Stele Inscriptions in Thai Nguyen and many valuable books to Song Cong High School and other schools in the area, contributing to the development of school libraries and spreading the reading culture in the community.

Continuing the series of activities, the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism will organize a book and tea product booth with the theme "Books and Tea" at Van Xuan Square (Pho Yen City) from April 24 to 26, within the framework of the Culture - Tourism - Sports Week of Thai Nguyen province in 2025.
