According to a report from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Quang Binh province, as of April 17, 2025, the whole province had 1,398/1,458 houses started construction (787 newly built houses, 611 repaired houses), reaching a construction commencement rate of 96%. Of which, 645 houses were completed (195 newly built houses, 450 repaired houses); 60 households have not started construction (26 newly built houses; 34 repaired houses). In addition, 06 households in Minh Hoa district continued to propose not to implement due to many objective reasons (05 newly built houses; 01 repaired house).

In the mountainous district of Tuyen Hoa, according to the results of the review of the subjects implementing the elimination of temporary houses and dilapidated houses according to regulations. The total number of approved households is 213 (157 newly built, 56 repaired), the district implementing the second most in the province. Currently, 107 houses have been handed over for use, the remaining 106 houses are committed to be completed before June 30, 2025.

Regarding funding, in addition to the support of the province, Tuyen Hoa district also called on organizations, officials, civil servants, workers and people in the area to join hands and contribute nearly 1.7 billion VND (supporting each new house with 10 million VND, repairing 5 million VND).
In addition, Quang Binh Provincial Police have called on benefactors to support 500 million VND and 150 tons of cement. They are currently continuing to survey the needs of essential household items to present on the occasion of the house inauguration and handover ceremony.

Along with that, officers and youth union members of the Provincial Police deployed 171 volunteer teams, supporting 356 working days to dismantle and transport construction materials for supported households.
In addition, the District Mass Organizations Front has also mobilized hundreds of working days to repair and build new houses for poor and near-poor households, along with many other practical activities.

To achieve the above results, Tuyen Hoa district has done a good job of propaganda and received the consensus, response, and cooperation from the people, the attention and support of all levels, units, organizations, and individuals.
It is worth mentioning that before the Central Government's policy on eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide, in June 2024, Tuyen Hoa district proactively reviewed and established a committee to mobilize financial support for implementation.

In 2024, the whole district completed 84 houses, with a total cost of 5.7 billion VND (Vietinbank supported 3 billion VND; Quang Binh Petroleum Company supported 1.5 billion VND; Quang Binh Provincial Relief Fund supported 1.2 billion VND).
The success of Tuyen Hoa district in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses has proven that with the initiative of the government, the cooperation of the community and a scientific approach, the housing problem for the poor can be solved in a short time.
